Just launched off MB-99b ASF 3 after a standard cargo drop. Not much for these logs, but things are wrong. We’ve picked up some transmissions across various frequencies – a pattern of distress and confusion knitting together from every corner of the cosmos. The message is fragmented, yet it all seems to lead back to a single terrifying message. “The stars are going out.”. People seem to have senses or seen it, but nobody can tell what it is.

At first, it seemed like isolated incidents, perhaps some local astrological phenomena or a communication error. Maybe even a stupid prank. But the reports are too widespread, too consistent. No natural phenomenon accounts for such an occurrence. It's as if the very fabric of our universe is unravelling.

The crew is on edge. We've checked our systems; all are operational. Yet, every star map we consult shows planets that don’t exist, like voids consuming the celestial landscape. It's as though the universe is being consumed by an insatiable darkness.

We're setting a course to our next target, Although we don’t really know if its the right choice. The uncertainty is killing us.

Running out of time

Heya, due to time constraints of my end I will not be able to work on my entry for most of the second week, I've gotten the concept to a mostly playable state. I've realized it's a little boring to play and after the Jam I will look back and see why that is and take that to either fix this up, or as a lesson for future projects. Thank you for reading!
